Just to make you aware that in production of Ruffles they do not knot the yarn as it is so thick. There may be a couple of breaks in the odd ball, as it is inevitable that there may be a very small percentage of breaks/knots in the production of a ball of yarn (British Standards allow 3 knots in a 100g ball). A break is of no detriment to the knitting of the scarf; carry on knitting as though it was attached, using the 2nd hole along the thin edge of the yarn after the break, as the next stitch. The break will not be visible in the finished scarf.
